ZICO URGES FANS TO BACK THE TEAM

KCB FC head coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Ochieng has urged the club’s supporters to back the team ahead of the weekend’s fixture against Wazito FC at the Kasarani Annex.

The bankers were held to a 1-1 draw in a mid-week fixture against law enforcers Police FC after they did not capitalize on their glorious chances in the first half. They are currently sitting on the fifth position with 33 points and a win would see them bounce into the top four.

Speaking 11th March, 2022 during open training session at the Ruaraka Sports Club, head coach Zico has lauded his side for their professionalism in adjusting to the back-to-back fixtures following the return of the Federation of Kenya Football (FKF) Premier league 2021/22 last weekend after a two-week break. He also calls for fans support to the team which has recorded a series of unfavorable results.

“We must admit that we haven’t put our best foot forward and this has been translated in our performances in the recent matches. However, we are reflecting on the past games while aiming to get back to the winning ways. We call upon our fans to support us for we are going through a rough patch which is normal in football.” He said.

On his side, the team’s captain Simon Abuko has admitted that indeed they have had their lows in the league so far but are putting in more efforts going into the next fixture.
