Lawmaker Kapsaret Oscar Sudi who allied to Deputy President has claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is a tribal leader. The vocal lawmaker through his Facebook post claimed that the President is employing divide and rule tactics in his bid to remain relevant by empowering “tribal chiefs. ‘His remarks came after the President met with the coastal governors, Hassan Joho Mombasa, Amason Kingi Kilifi and Salim Mvurya Kwale at State House.
Amason Kingi has been championing for formation of coastal regional party. In January Kingi and Joho hinted that they could ditch ODM for the regional outfit ahead of the General Election.
Sudi claims that Uhuru wants to sponsor the regional party despite having different political ideology with the two governors.
