Kenyan Premier League side Bandari FC is set to appoint Twahir Muhiddin as their new head coach.
Futaa sources in the club have indicated that the Harambee Stars assistant coach who has been working with the club as a technical director will take over from current tactician Ken Odhiambo is said to be on his way to Sofapaka.
Sofapaka had parted ways with John Baraza last week with his assistant Mike Mururi being in charge of the club’s last game against Kariobangi Sharks (a match they lost) and according to reports from the Batoto ba Mungu Camp, the club president Mr Elly Kalekwa had settled on Odhiambo.
Twahir will be tasked with steadying the Bandari shop with the team currently placed eighth on the log after managing one win, one draw, and two losses; their latest being a loss at the hands of KCB at home.
It’s not the first time Muhiddin will be in charge of Bandari having had different stints with the Coastal side. With the departure of Odhiambo expected to happen this week, Bandari will hope that Muhiddin can mark his return with positive results starting with a tie against Nzoia Sugar FC next.
