Senator of Murang`a Iringu Kang`ata has revealed that he will conducting another research on popularity of BBI in Mt. Kenya. Last month, Irung`u wrote a letter to the President detailing that BBI was not popular in central and the bill would flop, unless something is done.
However, this was on contrary as the bill passed on last Tuesday on all counties of Mt. Kenya. Irung`u on his defense said that his research was on common Kenyan in the region, not the MCAs who passed the bill.
The lawmaker, has come out again and revealed that he will be conducting research to determine the popularity of the bill in the region, as there is a likelihood of a refendurum to occur in the near future.
