Ruto will still be the Deputy President unless impeached by parliament; Tuju says.

Secretary General of Jubilee Raphel Tuju has said that Deputy President William Ruto will still be second in command even after he is removed as Jubilee party leader.

This is the Jubilee Party National Management Committee made the bold decision to fire Ruto as the party leader.

The DPs fate lies with the President who chairs the National Executive Committee. The committees clarified that the position of deputy president and deputy party leader were not tied together, so Ruto would still be the second in command even after he is firing is confirmed by the president.

The DP could only lose his position if the parliament decides to impeach him.
