TangaTanga lawmakers allied to Deputy President William Ruto were evicted from a City Hotel in Nairobi by police officers. The leaders were planning to address the press about the state of the nation.
Conveners of the meeting revealed that men in blue accused them of flouting covid 19 rules on social gathering. TangaTanga brigade were planning to talk about the country devasting rising debt after the new multi-billion loan was approved by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Also, they were planning to address the current cessation of movement in Nairobi, Kajiado, Nakuru, Kiambu and Machakos counties. Hustler nation blogger Dennis Itumbi complained of the meeting being disrupted despite the lawmakers giving a prior notice to the police.
