Police have launched an investigation into the death of Thogori Chege Karago who was found dead in the hotel room of Radisson Hotel in Nairobi’s Upper Hill.
The thirty-three-year-old, who was the former LinkedIn Africa boss, was found dead on January 21 in her hotel room by police.
According to the Kilimani Police boss Muturi Mbogo, earlier investigations show that the lady was diabetic, a condition that might have led to her death. He stated that the deceased’s body did not have any physical injuries.
“There are indications that she was diabetic, but that is subject to further investigations. For now, we take it to be a natural and sudden death,” he said.
The body was moved to MP Shah hospital morgue.
An online memorial has been formed to celebrate her life. Her friends online have eulogized her as a dedicated person who ensured that the world is a better place.
She was a former Senior Software Engineer and Product Manager and Head of Research and Development for the African Continent at LinkedIn.
