Manchester United had their eighth come back of the season as they come back from behind to beat Brighton at Old Trafford. Brighton had got the early lead through Danny Welbeck for Marcus Rashford to level things in the 63rd minute and Mason Greenwood to settle things in the 83rd minute to give Manchester the win.
Kenya Athletes set new world record in Istanbul Marathon.
Kenyan Athlete Ruth Chepngetich made history by breaking the World record at Istanbul Half Marathon. Ruth won the race by finishing in 1:04:02, followed by Ethiopian athlete Yehualaw and Hellen Obiri finished third.
In the men race Kenyan athlete Kibiwott set the new World record at 59:32 at Istanbul Half Marathon. His compatriot Geoffrey Kamworor came in four seconds later to finish second in the half marathon.
Atletico Madrid defeated by Sevilla.
Atletico Madrid title charge was dealt with a major blow as they were defeated by Sevilla 1-0. The defeat has given motivation to its close title contestants, Barcelona and Real Madrid. Barcelona who currently third will be welcoming Real Valladolid at Camp Nou , if they win they will have 65 points only one point behind league leaders Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid is in currently the second with 63 points, after beating Elbar 2-0 on Saturday.
Ole Gunnar runs out any possibility of Martial returning this season.
Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar has ruled out any possibility of Martial featuring for Red Devils for the remaining part of the season. Martial sustained an injury while on International duties and will race against time to heal to be able to feature for his National team in the upcoming European League Nation. Edison Cavani replaced the French forward in their clash against Brighton.
