KPL – Wazito, KCB draw as Ingwe and City stars win.

Wazito FC shared the spoils with Mathare United FC in a midweek Betking Premier League match played on Wednesday at Kasarani stadium.

The Visiting Wazito took an early lead through Maurice Ojwang who capitalized on The slum dwellers’ poor defensive clearance to tap in the opener.

Wazito FC’s lead was cut short in the 18th minute;Lennox Ogutu heading home Kinyanjui’s cross to level the tie.

Both coaches introduced substitutes in the second half in search of a winner. Ali Abondo was booked shortly after coming on for Whyvonne Isuza but neither side could manage a winner.

AFC leopards left it late to down Ulinzi stars at the MISC Kasarani. Peter Thiongo scored the all important goal to move Ingwe upto to third in the Betking Premier League log.

In Kisumu, Nairobi City Stars bagged maximum points after downing Western Stima 2-0. Goals from Ombija and Peter Opiyo, both in the first half was all they needed to secure full points.

Bankers KCB twice came from down to draw with Sofapaka in Wundanyi. On form Lawrence Juma continued his scoring spree bagging a brace for the Batoto Ba Mungu side while Reagan Otieno and Victor Omondi scored for the visiting bankers.
