Kericho Deputy Governor Susan Kikwai is dead. She had been undergoing treatment at Siloam Hospital for Covid 19.
The deputy county governor had been admitted in the ICU for the past two weeks. She was serving her second term, having been elected for her first term in 2013.
President Uhuru Kenyatta sent his condolence to the family and residents of Kericho county describing the late leader as a devoted public servant who was deeply committed to the wellbeing and progress of the country. May her soul rest in peace.
