ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has accused ODM party leader Raila Odinga of political deceit. This is after reports emerged that Raila had presented his formal application to be the ODM presidential flag bearer come 2022.
Musalia faulted Raila decision to contest for presidency come 2022 stating that Raila destroyed NASA coalition after his Handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta. Mudavadi added that NASA coalition had agreement that ODM would not field a candidate in the upcoming general election.
However, Mudavadi admitted Raila had constitutional right to contest for the top job, terming it as his last bullet.
ODM clarified that it was a prank on Fools day and Raila had not present his documents bidding to be presidential flag bearer of the party come 2022.
The party stated that Raila is waiting for the BBI process to be done with.
