Hon Esther Passaris funds Nairobi widows to kick-start their entrepreneurial journey

Nairobi Women Rep Hon Esther Passaris yesterday was Celebrating with the Widows who graduated yesterday with skills in Tailoring and received sewing machines from National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF) to kick-start their entrepreneurial journey.

Five community-based organizations for widows also received grants worth Kshs.100,000 each. I also celebrate Come Together Widows and Orphans Organization under the stewardship of Diana Kamande and the other partners for a program well executed.

Hon. Passaris has been in the front line of the most committed women representatives in empowering women. She has so far recorded a massive empowerment of up to 6,234 community based organizations in Nairobi City County, engaging with both women, youth and the physically challenged. More than any member of parliament in history.

She has as well been known to reaching out to those traders who lost their property and business in the Gikomba and Kibera fire incidents.
