Tottenham stadium has tonight witnessed Manchester united humble their hosts Tottenham Hotspurs three clean goals to one. After finishing the first half in a 1-0 down, United welcomed Tottenham to a rude awakening second half with a stunning equalizer from Fred Rogriguez before the Uruguayan star Edinson Cavani could head into the net the pain of being robbed his first goal which placed united at a 2 goals to one advantage barely into the second half.
Mason Greenwood was especially brilliant after coming on the last quarter of second half with a perfect delivery to seal United’s claim on the match in 3-1 win.
It was a very tactical game with both teams showing reluctance to attack in the first half that was primarily dominated by Jose Mourinho’s side. However, the second half showed united adopting a more direct approach with Pogba and Bruno seen to exert absolute control of the game that allowed Scott Mactominay to revert to deep defensive midfield while Fred was left hands on to recover possession quickly from Tote’s agile midfielders.
It was a well deserved win for United that has seen funs and foes alike especially elated at Fred’s goal, his first EPL goal in three years. In a stunning United’s opening goal, the Brazilian father of three proved to the whole world that he is not only capable of shooting balls into the net using his third short leg, but can also do the same using his right leg.
The 28 year old star premiered for United on June 2018 and has risen to become one of Ole’s most reliable central mid fielders.
Other star performers in the game included South Korean star Son Min Un who netted Tottenham’s only goal, Harry Kane brilliant albeit unsuccessful attacks. It was also very refreshing to see United’s skipper Handerson command his defence.
It was a beautiful game of football.
