Immediate former governor for Nairobi county Dr. Evans Kidero has hinted out that he could vie for Homa Bay gubernatorial seat in the coming general election, year 2022.
In an interview with The Standard, the soft spoken man mentioned that he may consider being in the ballot papers due to the demand of the locals and his urge to be in the top county leadership again.
He goes ahead to say that he has been visited by several advisers from the same county of interest prompting him to contest for the seat as he is also a son of the soil.
The seat is currently held by Hon. Cyprian Awiti (Banana is hard to climb), besides, there are several other ODM members eyeing for the top county office such as John Mbadi and Gladys Wanga not to mention the one and only Magwanga.
Kidero’s entrie into that mix has brought up some stomach rumbles amongst the contestants who are beginning to breath fire.
Things are getting thicker day by day for the Homa Bay gubernatorial contestants.
