Edwin Sifuna secretary general of Orange Democratic Party has been trending after claims of him being fired by ODM emerged on social media.
However, ODM director of Communication Philip Etale has refuted the claims and termed them as just rumours.
He urged ODM supporters and netizens at large not believe the news since the party had not made such communication regarding firing of the party`s secretary general but when Edwin Sifuna was asked by a tweep to clarify about the claims of him being fired, he didn’t deny claims or confirm them. He just laughed them off and stated that at least they haven’t announced my death.
Edwin Sifuna has served as the ODM party secretary general since taking over from Agnes Zani who served in acting capacity after former Budalangi law maker Ababu Namwamba ditched the party.
Edwin Sifuna has been on the front line in defending ODM and its party leader Raila Odinga interests.
