Fate of Dr. William Ruto as Jubilee Party deputy leader now lies with the president Uhuru Kenyatta. This was after the outfit`s National Management Committee of Jubilee made the decision to axe the deputy president of his position as deputy party leader.
The committee has forwarded the decision to the National Executive Council [ NEC] chaired by the president.
The president allies in the party accused the deputy president of sabotaging the president agenda and also pointed out his association with United Democratic Alliance [UDA].
Jubilee Secretary general Raphael Tuju told the standard , that NMC is second most powerful organ in the Jubilee Party which sets the agenda for Executive Committee and it has resolved to fire the second in command as the deputy party leader.
