The deputy president Dr. William Ruto has responded by affirming that he won’t resign. This is after the head of state dared him to resign.
The president said that, you can’t continue critiquing and opposing governments agendas and you claim you are part of the government.
The Deputy President is the leader of Hustler Nation and firm opposer of Building Bridges Initiative [BBI], whereas the president supports BBI.This has spiked a rift between the two.
The Deputy said also that,” Iam the only friend you got Mr. President.” He reminded the president of the time when he stood with him when both leaders had cases in the international criminal court [ICC]. He affirmed Kenyans he will continue doing.
