The Kenya Council of Church Alliances and Ministries [KCCAM] has urged head of State Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto to reconcile and cool the rising tension and anxiety ahead of 2022 General Election.
The chair of the council Bishop Kepha Omae, said the country is treading on a dangerous ground if the next year`s election come at a time when the animosity between the two leaders is still on.
The men of God pointed out the chaos that occurred during the by election held early this month is because of the tension and anxiety the two top leaders have caused.
They added that President Uhuru should focus on economic recovery and asked the head of state to stop borrowing more loans. They said that the ballooning public debt could put the future of the country in great danger.
